My Project

For my project, I'm going to build a diorama (a small-scale model) of a room that depicts the development of math and how its influenced the creativity of civilizations. Things that will show this are books (such as textbooks that were written during a certain time), buildings, names of mathematicians, famous equations, etc. There will be two people in the room, one looking and appreciating the creativity of those who came before and one who is ignoring it. I'm hoping in the project to show how long certain ideas lasted and also what ideas influenced certain creations. In addition to depicting the development, the majority of the objects in the room will be made from math symbols or related to math (such as the golden mean, sine waves, etc) to show how everything around us is a result of mathematical applications.
